World Dryland Sled Dog Championships site

Christina and Spongebob won Gold in the 2009 IFSS World Dryland Championships in Saguenay, QC, Canada. Course was VERY hilly, and were the first finishers in the Women's Senior, and by time would have also won the Men's and Women's Veteran Classes, and placed 3 seconds away from Bronze in the Men's Senior Class. Spongebob was just amazing, and it was an amazing experience for us.
Eagle Sled Dogs is a 6 dog kennel of racing  German Shorthair Pointer,European Pointer and Greyhound crosses located in Osborn Maine run by Christina Eagle, and her daughters Ayana (age 11) and Ciara (age 13).  We have fallen in love with the sport so much that living with dogs is as important to our lives as the air we breathe.   To live without them would be like living without a heart.  They are mirrors of the soul and I am humbled by their grace, strength, determination and passion for life on a daily basis.   We have been inspired to live bravely.

Our long term goals are to produce and race dogs that have a deep pedigree of proven success, are genetically sound, strong, focused, fast, well-socialized, top placing finishers.

Detailed Pedigree Site for Eagle Sled Dogs (Dogtec site)

We are committed to spending equal time socializing our pack and training our racing teams.  We require all of our dogs to get along well in a loose play setting.  In the  summer of 2007, we enclosed an acre of our yard to run in for a free play area.  In summer of 2008 I built everyone a new 1" foam insulated house, and added a 1/3 acre enclosure inside the pen for the intact ladies of the yard.

If I do choose to breed, factors I  consider include in-harness ability and drive, racing performance, pedigree,  intelligence, sociability, temperament and trainability.
